Pharos has been super lucky to have gotten so much press so early on in this project of building LA’s best hybrid facility.  When we put pen to paper on this mere dream back in February, we never dreamed that by the end of the year we would be featured on KTLA, Angelino Magazine, Hoodline and LA Times. Check out the spots below with some snippets !

“They have created a welcoming vibe.”

“The boutique gym, in the heart of Echo Park, features high-tech machines and weights along with a series of classes that vary from spin to Olympic weight-lifting.”

“The Pharos space is part airport hangar, part downtown loft, with skylights that flood the gym space with natural light and green plants that frame large windows.”

“But you don’t have to be superhero-strong to try a WORK class; it’s designed for beginners and experienced gym-goers….it’s safer and easier to pick up. ”

“Be prepared to be pushed to your limits, but no one will scold you if you need to take a break. The coaches give personal attention to each attendee and coach/co-founder Jeff Scarborough is especially patient with beginners.”

Pharos Athletic Club is home to celebrity trainer, Pieter Vodden, who has trained the Amazon women of Wonder Woman and the actors of Suicide Squad, Justice League, 300: Rise of an Empire, and Man of Steel. In fact, Pharos is really a culmination of all the training philosophies used in catapulting and fast-tracking results for these A-listers. Here’s a sneak peak from KTLA on what you can expect from Pharos Athletic Clubs many programs.
